Welcome to Chavez Travels. By booking a tour or using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms outline our commitment to you and your responsibilities as a traveler.
1. Booking and Payment
- Reservations: A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a completed booking form and the required initial deposit. - Payment Schedule: Full payment must be settled at least 30 days prior to the tour commencement date, unless otherwise specified in your custom itinerary. - Currency: All prices are quoted in USD (unless otherwise stated) and are subject to change due to significant fluctuations in exchange rates or government taxes.
Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellation by Client: Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Refund amounts vary based on the notice period provided (refer to our specific Cancellation Policy for detailed tiers). - Cancellation by Chavez Travels: We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to unforeseen "Force Majeure" events (e.g., natural disasters, safety concerns). In such cases, we offer a full refund or an alternative travel date.
Travel Insurance
It is a mandatory condition of booking that all travelers hold comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, personal accident, and trip cancellation. Chavez Travels is not liable for costs incurred due to lack of insurance.
Health and Safety
- Travelers must ensure they are fit for the chosen itinerary. Please inform us of any medical conditions or dietary requirements at the time of booking. - While we prioritize your safety, participation in certain activities (e.g., trekking, water sports) is at the traveler's own risk.
Limitation of Liability
Chavez Travels acts as an agent for hotels, transport providers, and other contractors. We are not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage caused by these third-party service providers.
